Our Decor Transfers™ are designed in scale and motif to be appropriate for decor. Use them to add a unique touch to your furniture projects, wall art or accessories. Pressure sensitive, you apply them by rubbing them onto the surface. Ensure a long lasting result by sealing with a quality sealer.
We've made many of our new Decor Transfers™ "buildable", by adding opacity, (so that they look good when they overlap) and making the designs themselves more versatile, so that they work visually, when used in combination. Since the designs are more opaque than previous versions, they will show up well against dark colors as well as light.
Use IOD Decor Transfers on any painted/sealed surface. The artwork is already done for you. Their illustration images are stunning. All you need to do is (quite literally) rub them onto your desired surface - Crafts, Furniture, Glass, Mirrors and in some cases, painted/sealed fabric (totes, pillows with little use, artwork). You can further distress them if you like. You can layer them. For example, we like to take a font transfer (or stamp) and apply perhaps flowers, butterflies…
Ladies in Waiting - RETIRED- Her naked toes dug into the cool soil with each daring step. She plucked one from each row of color and buried her face in the pillowy mountain of collected blooms breathing in the heady perfume. The distant calls fell, ignored, to the ground. This transfer is a collection of four images which you can align across to make a larger, single image (or 2 or 3 images). So much versatility. Its a great transfer to start with if new to transfers yet is loved by the avid enthusiast.

Just remember...three important things when applying transfers! 1) Listen for the “plasticy sound of an air bubble to help release the transfer off the carrier sheet onto your surface. 2) Be sure to check with your stockist (you can message us) to be certain if you should seal your surface prior to applying transfers (some products can let off a gas - enough to lift the transfer). 3) Be sure that ALL the surface of the transfer is well burnished onto the surface (rubbing very well over the carrier sheet with tool, even if you believe it is all on. Also - use your finger with a damp rag or a piece of the carrier sheet to rub all over too.)
