New! The Makery at Seaporium class aprons! All ready for more classes.
Boy! I have let the time get away with me. Truth be told…I push myself to get through the holidays and I really needed a bit of a sort of “down” time. I still worked but did take a couple Mondays/Tuesdays off. They’re posted closed as closed days anyways. We did manage to have our first completed class! Yay! All went very well in our Chalk Paint 101 class. Everyone learned the basics of painting and even got some demonstrations of the amazing line of Iron Orchid Designs products. After painting, eating and drinking and socializing, they happily brought home their completed pieces. We are looking forward to doing more fun classes.
Another class is currently on the docket! We are hosting a Sea Art Class being taught by the talented Cathy Clifford. Sign up for her Friday, February 22 class (6-9 pm) here. You will have a choice of creating one of three fantastic sea-glass creations as seen below. Be sure to sign up quickly as we believe this class will certainly fill.
Meet Manuela! We are blessed to have met this talented young woman. She will be spending some time at our little shop. Manuela is a graduate of Otis Parsons School of Design in Industrial Design and currently works as a Project Manager for a local paint company. She felt very inspired upon stumbling upon our store a couple weeks ago and will be “interning” with us at her leisure. Wait ’til you meet her. She is a lovely gal with the sweetest personality.
Stay tuned for more classes to come. We have added some new project pictures in our “Gallery” page so be sure to check them out. Below, are some teaser pics. In the meantime, be sure to stop in and cheer us on while we get our store painted. Coffee is always on! – or Hot Chocolate, Tea, Chai…
